Linda Eileen Lyle (Eksandh)
October 19, 1951 – August 29, 2024
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Linda Eileen Lyle, who was surrounded by loved ones, at the age of 72.
Linda left us with a lifetime of beautiful memories and will be greatly missed by Les, her loving husband of 54 years, daughter Tammy (Bill) Erickson, granddaughter Kaitlyn (Aydain) Kolt, their son and Linda’s only great grandchild Kesten Kolt, grandson Austin (Cassandra) Erickson, son Kevin (Brenda), sister Maxine (Shorty) Schmidt, special friend Cindy Nay, as well as many other loving relatives and friends.
Linda was predeceased by her parents Roland and Florence Eksandh, sister Donna, father and mother in-law Lindsay and Ila Lyle, sister in-law Carolyn, and brother in-law Lindsay.
Linda was known for her kind heart, fighting spirit, and unconditional love. She lived a fulfilling life, cherishing every moment spent with her family and creating everlasting traditions, especially at Christmas. She enjoyed traveling, camping, and coffeeing with friends. She always had a love for flowers, especially carnations and red roses, and filled her home with many handmade silk arrangements.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at the Drayton Valley Hospital, especially the nurses in the Cancer Centre.
As per Linda’s wishes there will be no formal service.
