Helen Grace Darragh (Russell)

The family is saddened to announce the passing of Helen on August 1, 2024, at the Drayton Valley Hospital.
She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Dave (Dawn), Delbert (Shelley), Pat (Glenis), Kevin, Ken (Melanie) and Merl. Helen is also survived by 15 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters and best friends Muriel and Doreen.
Helen was predeceased by her husband, Lee Darragh; her parents Archibald and Dora Russell and two brothers, Harry and Robert.
The family would like to thank Bryanna and Esther for all the care they provided as well as the staff at the Drayton Valley Health Care Centre.
Helen was a mom to many, and in her spirit of love for the community, the family would ask, in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Helen’s name to the Community Health Foundation – Palliative Project, 4550 Madsen Avenue, Drayton Valley, AB T7A 1N8.
Helen had a life that was well lived and her life will be celebrated with a Memorial Service at a later date.
