Edward Michael Chymycz Obituary
Edward Michael Chymycz
February 5, 1938 – August 23, 2024
The family of Edward Chymycz is saddened to announce his passing on August 23, 2024, at the Drayton Valley Hospital.
Edward will live on in the memories of his son Michael and his grandchildren. Kristopher (Brandy), Kurtis, Kyle (Sophia), Leevon (Katie) Evans and Hailey (Josh) Evans. Edward will also be remembered by numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Edward was predeceased by his wife, Laureen; his parents, Michael and Ethel; brother Theodore; Daughter Cindy; great grandson Kayl and his nephew and his wife, Lance and Magdalina.
Edward spent most of his working life in Oilfield Maintenance, but his greatest passion whether at work or play, was to visit and talk with family and friends. He was quite the conversationalist, and strangers were just friends he hadn’t met yet. His vibrant spirit to talk with others will be greatly missed, but there is comfort in knowing all the different lives he touched along the way of his journey.
In keeping with Edward’s wishes, there will be no formal service, but the stories and memories of time spent with him will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Edward’s name to the charity of your choice.
