Jeannette Longworth Obituary
Jeannette Louise Longworth was born in Fort Chipewyan, AB on August 18,1945 to Marie and Zacharie Ladouceur. She was taken home to be with the Lord and is now reunited with the love of her life, Herbert Longworth. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Marie Heron and Zacharie Ladouceur, stepdad Roy Heron, sister Margaret Kapola, brothers Edward, Joseph and Patrick Ladouceur and numerous extended family members. She leaves behind her sister, Sarah Skwarchuk, her children Darla (Dan) Pitchko, Duane Ladouceur, Dion Ladouceur and Darren Waniandy, her Grandchildren Dustin Waniandy, Danielle (Denton) Oberkirsch, Deanna Pitchko (Colton Lindsell), Dakota Pitchko (Benjamin Johnson), Ryen Ladouceur, Alex Oltsher, Jaidon Oltsher, Rodney Desnomie, Carrie Ann Christianson and Tya Matchett, her Great Grandchildren Lily Guenther, Ashlynn & Hunter Oberkirsch, Sophie and Connor Waniandy, Julian and Bentlee (twins) Lindsell & Anna Christianson, Mariah, Ryder and Liam Matchett, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mom always lived life to the fullest and always had a huge beautiful smile. She met the love of her life Herb in 1986 and they were married on May 6th, 2000 in Saskatoon SK. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with everything she had. She worked in Northern Saskatchewan in the camps for a few years and then retired early due to health issues. But she was a true warrior – with every health issue she had, she fought til her final day. She will be sadly missed but is no longer in pain. Rest easy mom.
A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at Christ The King Catholic Parish on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ The King Catholic Church in her memory Box 1719 Claresholm, Alberta – T0L 0T0
