It is with immense sadness that the family of Donnie (Donald) Morton announces his passing on September 25th 2023. Donnie made his greatly anticipated entrance into the world a little early on December 28, 1979 at the Calgary General Hospital. He lived in Claresholm for most of his life preferring the small town life to the big city hustle. He graduated from WCCH in 1998 he then started his life long career of working with trucks and being on the open road. He started working at Triple T Trucking before hitting the road to be a long haul driver. For 20 years he travelled Canada and the US. His constant companion and swamper Jade (Piglet) always by his side. When he wasn’t on the road he loved to be west of town in the Porcupine Hills and his favorite place Race Horse. He loved camping and back roading with family and friends.
Donnie will be forever be remembered and loved by his parents Tony and Jeri Morton and his sister Kathleen Morton. His best friend Derek Dewar (Candise) and all other family and friends. He was predeceased by his sisters Catrina and Kristine.
Memorial donations may be made to Diabetes Canada. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
