Alvera “Vera” Isabelle Brausen
(December 18, 1930 – November 20, 2023)
Alvera “Vera” Isabelle Brausen of Daysland, Alberta, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023 at the age of 92 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Neil Brausen (Sherry Ferrel), Butch (Faye) Brausen, Colleen Froehler, Brian Brausen (Tresa Loustel), Colin (Karen) Brausen, Shawna (Pat) Hayes, and Rhonda (Philip) Bexson; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and siblings Marjorie Stang, Rodger Hauser, and Jeanette (Glendon) Langille.
Vera was predeceased by her husband James Brausen; parents Joe and Ludvina Hauser; five brothers; three sisters; daughter-in-law Gerry Brausen; and son-in-law Paul Froehler.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Our Lady of the Prairies Roman Catholic Church, 5202 59 St Daysland celebrated by Father Danial DSouza.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Vera’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta or to the Daysland Cemetery Fund.
