Olive Catherine Garvey

Olive Catherine Garvey of Daysland, Alberta, formerly of the Clover Lawn Community, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at the age of 87 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Garry (Belinda) Garvey and Audie Garvey; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and siblings Fred (Francis) Jamieson and Bob (Betty) Jamieson.
Olive was predeceased by her husband Les; son Wayne; daughter Marlene; grandson Stephen; parents Cameron and Ethel; brothers Jim and Gerry; and sister Edith.
A Liturgy of the Word will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Our Lady of the Prairies Roman Catholic Church, 5202 59 St Daysland, officiated by Father Danial DSouza.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Olive’s memory may be made to Heart and Stoke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
