Daniel Norman Grue
February 1959 – August 2024
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Daniel Norman Grue (Dan) at the age of 65.
Left to mourn his passing are his siblings Gerr (Wendy), Barb, Audrey (Ron), Doug (Rhonda); thirteen nieces, nephews and their spouses; twenty-nine great-nieces and great-nephews; and his many friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Norman & Leila; brother-in-law James; nephew Tim; great-nephews Logan, and Aaron; and great-niece Noelle.
Dan cherished all things in nature and the portion of the Battler River Valley he called home. He spent many hours e-biking and taking pictures. He loved working with wood and produced many beautiful pieces of rustic furniture.
A private family gathering was held for Dan. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made in Dan’s name to the Ferry Point Historical Society.
