Stephanie Howe Obituary
Stephanie Jacinta Howe, 41 years old, of Calgary, Alberta, passed away on October 24, 2024 at Dulcina Hospice.
Stephanie was born in Quesnel, BC to Angela and Gordie Howe on October 28, 1982. Stephanie grew up in Quesnel, then moved to Hinton, Alberta to attend John Paul II, before making Calgary her home. Her love of children led her to begin training as a doula. Stephanie’s greatest joys in life were her faith, being an auntie and godparent, and welcoming babies into the world!
Stephanie is survived by her grandmother, Cathy Hohmann; mother, Angela Howe; siblings, Trevor (Carmen) Howe, Nikki Howe (James), and Devon Howe (Callie); nieces and nephews, Alexi, Aiden, Amber, Thatcher, and Aria; along with her godchildren and many other children who have called her Auntie. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ben Hohmann, Gerry, and Dee Howe; and her father, Gordie Howe.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church (541 Silvergrove Dr NW) on November 2, 2024 at 1:30 pm with Father Cristino officiating. Live-streaming will be available through the link below. Interment at Union Cemetary on Monday, November 4, 2024 at 9:00 am.
At Stephanie’s request, memorial donations may be made to BC Children’s Hospital (4500 Oak St., Vancouver, BC, V6H 3N1). Stephanie received care during her childhood at BC Children’s, so it held a special place in her heart!
