On May 25, 2024, Jay Stotz went to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ after being diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. The Lord took him home quickly as it was less than two months. Jay is survived by his wife, Cheryl; and son, Blaine Stotz; two brothers, Charles Stotz & family and Ray (Val) Stotz & family who reside in Lethbridge.
Jay was a hard worker. He played golf and enjoyed gardening and tending to the flowers. Jay also enjoyed traveling as in his early years he owned his own truck and worked for Allied Van Lines. He liked cars and car races, particularly Indy. Family was very important to Jay. He was always a great help to those who needed him.
Jay and Cheryl met 57 years ago and were married for 55 years. She is thankful for all those years together and loved him dearly.
Gone too soon. We will greatly miss you.
Graveside Urn Interment will take place at Mountain View Memorial Gardens – Last Supper Garden (1605 – 100 Street SE, Calgary) on Friday June 7, 2024 at 1:00pm
Following the graveside, friends are invited to A Celebration of Jay’s Life at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) at 2:00pm.
