Obituary of Jana Lauraine Bear
February 3, 1987 – October 29, 2024
Jana Lauraine (Hannah) Bear passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at the age of 37 years.
Jana is survived by her children, Angelo, Demon, and Demi Bear-Sinclair; siblings, Phyllis Bear, Dylon Wuttunee, Jesse Bear, Jody Bear, and Judy Bear (Elliot Frank); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Jana was predeceased by her parents, Ernest Baptiste and Lauraine Bear; her stepfather who helped raise her, Teddy Nokohoot; and her spouse and father of her children, Patrick Sinclair.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McInnis & Holloway (Heritage, 1708 – 16th Avenue NW, Calgary, AB) on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Wake Services will be held at the Elders’ Hall of Little Pine First Nation (Little Pine, SK) on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.
Funeral Services will be held at the Elders’ Hall of Little Pine First Nation (Little Pine, SK) on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Traditional Feast to follow. Graveside Service to follow at Little Pine Cemetery.
