Isabel Prill passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023 at the age of 77 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Darlene (Chris) Yaknunas; granddaughters, Jaden and Katie Yaknunas; her siblings, Shirley, Audrey, Barbara, Larry, David, Jackie, Carol and Robbie; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Isabel was born and raised in Fernie, BC the oldest of nine children to Jessie and Nelson Macintosh. She later moved to Calgary, AB in the late 1970’s Where she met her late husband, Ewald Prill while working at the grandstand at the Calgary Stampede. Together they had one daughter, Darlene. She continued her career with the Calgary stampede working in facility maintenance as well as the Saddledome before retiring.
In Isabel’s later years, she spent most of her time diamond painting on her tablet and cheering on the Calgary Flames. She enjoyed going for coffee and the occasional phone call with her friend Sharon. Isabel was a great homemaker and took great pride in being a grandmother; helping to care for her two granddaughters Jaden and Katie. She loved her grandchildren dearly.
Isabel will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.
