It is with great sadness that the family of Jerry Voll announce his passing on January 13, 2023, with his family by his side.
Beloved husband of the late Sue (2013). Loving father of Kevin, Lisa and Michelle. Cherished Papa of Megan, Nicole and Madison. Dear brother of Sylvia Jacques, the late Jack Voll and the late Wilma (Shirley) Pulsford, and brother-in-law of Jo-Anne Jolliffe and the late Janet Nolan. Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Calvin and Winnifred Voll.
Jerry obtained his Chartered Accountant designation with Clarkson Gordon (London), and later became a partner at Powell Jones (Barrie). He was actively involved in the Barrie Huronia Rotary Club. Jerry was an avid baseball fan and was passionate about the Toronto Blue Jays. From an early age, Jerry developed a love of music that lasted throughout his life.
Jerry’s family will receive relatives and friends from 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467, with a memorial service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
