It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Katherine (Kat) Burns on January 27, 2023, at the age of 46 years old. Kathy is survived by her husband Larry and daughters: Danielle (Kyle Anderson) and Taylor (Jalal Melhem); her father Edward Welch; her sister Carlene (Chris Malizia); and her brother Philip Welch, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She will be lovingly remembered by her brothers and sisters at Local 488 along with many other friends and family members.
Kathy was predeceased by her mother Therese Welch in 2022 and her brother Gary Welch in 2021.
A celebration of life for Kathy (Kat) Burns will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Service North Central, 10129 Princess Elizabeth Ave, Edmonton, Alberta.
