Obituary of Bruce Edward Lacillade
Bruce Edward Lacillade, of Beamsville, passed away at the age of 69 on February 17, 2023, peacefully at home surrounded by his beloved family.
Loving husband of Vicki, Father of Annie and Sadie, Father In-Law of Lloyd, and Dear brother of Joanne, Reggie, and David. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Bruce was born on May 21, 1953 to Lucille Gulfield in Montpelier, Vermont. Bruce led a life of service as a Medical Corpsman with the United States Navy, followed by 24 years as a Firefighter and Fire Inspector with the Burlington Fire Department. Bruce was also the Chaplain to the American Legion, and a counselor with Badge of Life. He dedicated many years to the Catholic Church, and in his free time he would enjoy playing his drums, listening to jazz music, writing, and reminiscing about his favourite places in Vermont.
Visitation will be held at Tallman Funeral Home located at 3277 King Street, Vineland, ON from 2:00-4:00 pm & 6:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday February 21, 2023. Funeral Service will be held at St. Helen’s Roman Catholic Church 4106 Mountain Street, Beamsville, ON at 11:00 am on Wednesday February 22, 2023.
