Moore, Brian Michael- 42, of Central Grove passed away suddenly Friday, February 24, 2023, at home. Born in Digby, he was a son of Mary Moore and the late Gerald Moore. Brian worked for the Department of Transportation on the Grand Passage Ferry and was the owner of School Street Market. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cooking. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Brian was a long-time volunteer fire fighter with the Freeport Fire Department. He was a trustee with Brookside Cemetery. Brian was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all. He always cared for others and was eager to lend anyone a helping hand. He was a generous, considerate, gentle, and selfless man who will be missed by so many. Surviving are his wife, Lorraine (Sollows); sons, Jesse (Cassidy), Sawyer (Paige), Griffin; grandsons, Emmett and Franklin; granddaughters, Braylin and Aayla; his mother, Mary Moore; sister, Kristy (TeeJay) Wiles; grandmother, Janet Moore; parents-in-law, Donald and Sherilyn Sollows; uncles, Glendon (Heather) and Alan (Joyce) Moore; a niece, Emily Doucette and nephew, Daniel Moore and many cousins. Besides his father, he was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Ivan Moore and maternal grandparents, Barbara, and Harold Thompson. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, March 3, 2023, in Brookside Cemetery, Freeport. Pastor Lou Outhouse officiating. A reception will follow at the Freeport Fire Hall.
