Bockus, Brian David
Brian Bockus passed away peacefully in his home on September 5th, 2023, in Collingwood at the age of 70.
Brian is predeceased by his parents, Edgar and Margaret Bockus and his brothers Robert and John (Linda). He leaves behind his loving daughters Christine and Brianna (Chris) and the grandchildren he was endlessly proud of, Carlie and Connor Thompson, Nykita Simpson and Chloe and Ethan Lyons. He will be fondly remembered by his nephew Robbie and his niece Shannon.
Brian was proud of the work he accomplished during his career at the Collingwood Shipyards and his 15-year career as a welder at General Motors.
He was a proud father, poppa, and a devoted friend.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday September 16, 2023, at the Royal Canadian Legion – Collingwood from 2-4 p.m. with remembrances at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Brian’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
