It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brett, in his 35th year Brett leaves behind his loving wife Cynthia Olesen, his parents Bill Piels (Suzanne Orchard), Brother Calvin (Brandy), his in-laws John and Tracey Olesen, loved and sadly missed by his nieces & nephews Dustin, Daisy, and Dixie. A cherished soul who left us far too soon. Brett’s life was a testament to his unwavering passion for the natural world, his profound love for reptiles, and his exceptional artistic talents. Born with an innate connection to the outdoors, Brett found solace and joy in the wilderness. His fascination with reptiles was unparalleled, and his knowledge of these creatures was extensive. Brett’s eyes would light up as he shared his insights about these remarkable animals, inspiring everyone around him to appreciate the beauty of nature. But it wasn’t only the living creatures that Brett found captivating; he was also a tremendously creative artist. Beyond his passions, Brett was a kind and compassionate soul who touched the lives of all who knew him. His warm smile and gentle demeanor were a source of comfort to those in his presence. He had a unique ability to make people feel seen and valued. Brett’s departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but his legacy lives on in the hearts and memories of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
