Obituary of Brent Alan Cochrane
It is with great sadness that the family of Brent Cochrane announces his passing which occurred on Monday, August 14, 2023. Born in Saint John, NB on August 17, 1982, he was the son of Stuart Cochrane and the late Kelly-Anne (Krumenacker) Cochrane.
They didn’t call him Sled Ed for nothing, Brent will be remembered for his passion for “wheeling”. His happiest moments were between him and a throttle. Many laughs, wonderful memories and stories will never be forgotten. Brent’s huge heart that he always wore on his sleeve will forever be remembered and missed. Brent’s favourite quote – “Life’s Short, Ride Hard”.
Brent is survived by his son, Wyatt Gallant; father, Stuart Cochrane (Leigh Ann); sister, Amy Cochrane; niece, Aubree Cochrane; as well as many special friends and extended family.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424). Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held from the Brenan’s Chapel on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, beginning at 12:00 PM. Donations in memory of Brent may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Outflow Ministries Men’s Shelter.
