CHATWIN, Brad – It is with great sadness that the family of Brad (Gopher) Chatwin announces his passing on Sunday, May 21st, 2023 at the age of 68. Survived by his brother John Chatwin, his sister Donna Manning, and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews and close friend for many years, Frank. Predeceased by his father Donald, mother Doreen and brother Gordie.
Brad was an animal lover with a heart of gold and will be missed tremendously. Throughout his lifetime, Brad had many pets and the family takes comfort in knowing he is now reunited with them. The family wants to thank all of the health care professionals who cared for Brad, and the Welland Emergency Department staff for their outstanding level of compassion and care in Brad’s final days. A celebration of Brad’s life will be held at a later date and in lieu of flowers the family is asking for a memorial donation for the Welland Humane Society or any other animal related charity.
