Bonnie Jeannette Anstey
July 24, 1950 – April 30, 2023
It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Bonnie Anstey announce her passing on April 30, 2023, at the age of 72 years.
She leaves to mourn her husband, Eugene; daughters Melanie (Scott) Emberley and Kathy (Chris) Bourne; grandchildren Cole, Drew, Indie, and Phoebe; brothers Roy Pittman, Sam (Wanda) Pittman, Mel (Margaret) Pittman; sister Louise (Bruce) Hutchings; brothers-in-law John (Wavey) Anstey, Melvin (Patsy) Anstey; sister-in-law Ena (Raymond) Lewis; nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Bonnie was predeceased by her parents James and Beulah Pittman; sister Shirley Pittman; brother Laudrick Pittman; parents-in-law William and Verna Anstey; and sister-in-law Julie Anstey.
In keeping with Bonnie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023, from the hours of 2 pm to 4 pm at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake, NL. There will be no funeral service at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Western Long-Term Care – Palliative Unit, Corner Brook, NL. The family would like to thank everyone for their support during this difficult time.

Eugene, Cathy and Melanie. I am so sorry to hear of Bonnie’s passing. We shared so many fun times in our early years. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed by so many. My deepest condolences. Thinking of you all during this difficult time.
