Obituary of Bob Caudle
November 15, 1935 – August 27, 2023
Peacefully surrounded by family, Bob was called home on August 27 after a brief stay at Hospice Wellington. Survived by his loving wife of 63 years Carol, he will be deeply missed by his children Lori, Debbie and Jimmy as well as his ten grand-children and nineteen great-grandchildren. Pre-deceased by his children Ricky and Tom, Bob will also be fondly remembered by his many colleagues, friends and parishioners.
Bob started his career with five years in the Royal Canadian Navy where he met his future wife Carol while stationed in Nova Scotia. Following the Navy, Bob spent 30 memorable years with the London Fire Department until he retired as Captain. Not to take retirement lightly, Bob was always on the move and went back to school at the age of 55 when he was ordained as an Anglican Minister with ministries across Ontario and Alberta for over twenty three years.
A graveside interment service will be conducted on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Eastnor Cemetery, Lion’s Head. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton.. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Wellington in Guelph is greatly appreciated by the family. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.georgefuneralhome.com
