Bill left this world on June 10th, 2023, after suffering a stroke. He leaves his wife, Pat; son Doug, (Laurie); daughter Katie, (Andrew); grandsons, Mason and Sawyer; and sister in-law, Pam. His family meant everything to him. He was a proud graduate of Humberside C.I. and Waterloo Lutheran University. His years playing basketball on his university team and later on in the Toronto Men’s Leagues brought him great joy. His time and energy was devoted to teaching and coaching with the Toronto Board of Education, retiring from North Toronto C.I. in 2000. He made a big impact in the lives of many students and the community. He was a co-founder of the North Toronto Basketball Association in which both his children learned to love the game. In his retirement, he loved to golf, curl, play cards and spend time with his grandsons. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
