Bev was born in Duck Lake, Saskatchewan to Albert and Odile Fisher. Bev lived his life on the ranch helping his family raise horses and cattle. Living the ranch life til he moved to BC to lumberjack in the late 50’s and early 60’s. He then moved to Alberta in the early 60’s and started working in the oilfield as foreman for Parkland Construction and Fudd Construction.
Bev was an outrider for his father, Albert and brother Rupert with the wagons that ran at the Calgary Stampede, Ponoka Stampede, Meadow Lake, SK and Swan River, MB. He received numerous outriding awards.
Bev has four children Jodie 1967, Kelly 1968, Jacqui 1973 and Kori 1975. In 1979, he was raising his family west of Didsbury when he started his corral cleaning business, Double Ringer Trucking.
He moved his family to Stettler in 1981. Where he was heavily involved in all aspects of his children lives, weather it was volleyball, hockey, baseball, High School Rodeo, football, 4-H and basketball. While he was involved in his busy kid’s schedule, he somehow managed to build a farm with a new house, new shop, new cattle shelter and corrals and a ran a business Bev Fisher Trucking Corral Cleaning. And yet still made time to be a member of the Stettler Rodeo Committee, a player on a mixed slow pitch team, trail rides and most important of all, playing horseshoes!! He would never miss a game of horseshoes and laughter.
In his final years, he spent as much time as he could with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sharing his wise words and love. He loved his family and friends dearly.
Bev is survived by his children: Jodie (Jeff) Bailey of Sunnyside, WA, Kelly (Jill) Fisher of Spruce Grove, AB, Jacqui (Troy) Rider of Lacombe, AB and Kori (Rodney) Fraser of Stettler, AB; grandchildren: Traci (Miles) Ashton, Tate Bailey, Kyle (Tiffany) Fisher, Kennidy (Luca) Barbieri, Beaudon (Kate) Rider, Jackson (Morgan) Rider, Dayton Rider, Bryce Fisher, Kelsey (Steven) Nelson, Hailey (Lucas) Fisher; great grandchildren: Zayden Fisher, Rylee Nelson and Emmett Ashton; brothers and sisters: Fern (Howard) Dugan, Lloyd (Heather) Fisher, Florence Collin, Richard (Sharon) Fisher and Gary (Lorna) Fisher; sisters-in-law: Cathy Fisher, Emilie Fisher and Karen Fisher; as well as numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and many dear friends.
Bev is predeceased by parents Odile and Albert Fisher; brothers: Rupert Fisher, Warren Fisher and Wesley Fisher and sister Vivian Kerr.

Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 1:00 P.M.
Christ-King Catholic Church, Stettler, Alberta
