Obituary
It is with heartfelt sorrow that the family announce the passing of Beverly Dean (Pritchard) on January 28, 2023. We take great comfort in knowing that her struggle is over and she is once again united with her loved ones.
Bev will be lovingly missed by her children Sheldon Dean (Yvonne), Janet Leibel (Ernie), Darren Dean (Cheryl), Corinne Halland (Ken), and Blaine Dean (Tracy); her 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; special friend Don Letwinetz (Sandy); sisters Joyce Metcalfe and Sandra Dyck (Arnold); and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Myron, granddaughter Haley, and great-granddaughter Taylor.
Bev was a busy woman. She loved her flower gardens, cooking for a crowd, sewing and took up cake decorating as a challenge. There was always time for visiting with friends, camping and playing cards. But forever was her love for her family, both immediate and extended family. Her face would light up like a candle when the grandchildren and greatgrandchildren were with her.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Ponoka Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2023 with the Interment Service for both Beverly and Myron following at the Forest Home Cemetery. The Funeral Service will be livestream broadcast – the video viewer is located below.
Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to Ponoka F.C.S.S. or Diabetes Canada.
