Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton on Monday August 14, 2023. Bev (nee Ferrell) of Burford in her 73rd year. Beloved wife of the late Bob Heeney (2011). Loving Mom of Annette & (Jim) Spence, Norm & (Alison) Heeney and Lorraine Heeney. Cherished Nana of Jimmy, Keith, Kylie & (Dustin), Cole, Brooklyn, Tamarra & (Tom) and Great Nana of Nixon and Jaxx. Also survived by brother Rick & (Margaret) Ferrell, Sister in law Liz Ferrell and Brother in law Rod Austin. Predeceased by brothers Dave Ferrell and Ferg & (Lorna) Ferrell and sister Julie Austin. Bev will be sadly missed by many family and friends and dear friend Connie. Bev was a member of the Burford Cathcart Harley Branch #543 Royal Canadian Legion and a devoted member of the Burford Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
Friends will be received at the KEITH OVINGTON FUNERAL HOME 134 King Street, Burford on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday August 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment New Durham Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations in Bev’s memory may be made to the Stedman Community Hospice or the Burford Cathcart Harley Legion. KEITH OVINGTON 449-1112.
