Beverley Anne Buuck, age 78, of Stratford passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on March 12, 2023. Born in Windsor, daughter of the late Willard and Marie (Meyers) Schmidt.
Predeceased by her husband Fraser Buuck (2001). Loving mother of Kimberley Tinning, Cindy Egli, Tracy Buuck. Grandmother of Shawn Tinning, Shannon Tinning (Adam), Lacey Bailey (Jamie), Lisa Bailey (Ben), Alayna Egli (Stuart), Brandon Egli (Dani) and great grandmother of Ava, Jaiden, Clayton, Landon. Sister of Wendy O’Bumsawin (Joseph).
Predeceased by daughter Pamela Buuck (1982), grandson Chad Tinning, son-in-law Garry Pfaff and sister Colleen in infancy.
Bev spent her working years of employment at Cooper Standard and later Canadian Fabricated Products until her retirement. Bev loved spending time with her family. She always enjoyed babysitting the neighbour’s kids, gardening, playing crokinole, dancing to music of the 50’s.
The family would like to express many thanks to the staff at Stratford General Hospital for the special care their mother received, as well a great appreciation to the wonderful staff at Spruce Lodge for the exceptional love and care they gave her for the past 13 years.
Visitation will be held at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Thursday, March 16, from 4-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 2 p.m. Spring interment at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church cemetery, Gadshill.
