A resident of Chatham, formerly of St. Thomas, Betty Durden passed away at home on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at the age of 77.
She was the daughter of the late Dean Anderson & Cora Fairbairn (nee Doxtater).
Reunited with her husband, the late Robert Durden.
Loving mother of Doris Gatecliffe (Doug), Keith Lawrence (Denise) & John Lawrence (Jody).
Grandmother of Shanna Coade (Steve), Patricia Gatecliffe, Candace Moyer (Brandon), Tim Campbell (Andrea), Michael Campbell (Carolyn), Matthew Lawrence, & Kristin Stothart (Mike).
Great-grandmother of Greg, Lexi, Ellie, Luca, Collins, Brynlee, Carter, Jaxson, Brock, Kya, Noah, Emily, Jordan, Neveah, & Hailey.
Sister of Patricia Charlton (the late Ron).
Missed by many nieces & nephews.
As per Betty’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
In memory of Betty, donations may be made to the Chatham-Kent Animal Rescue or to Pet & Wildlife Rescue.
