Gillis, Betty Lorraine – Peacefully on Friday February 24, 2023 at the Stevenson Memorial Hospital in Alliston. Betty, in her 85th year, loved wife of the late John Gillis. Loving mother of Terry Gillis, Gary Gillis (Elizabeth Quelch), Kathy Cresswell (Brett), Donna Ruffolo (Jim Haldane) and Troy Gillis (Stephanie MacKenzie). Proud grandmother of Brad Cresswell, Brandon Ruffolo, Marla Simpson, the late Bryce Cresswell, Danielle Ruffolo, Kayla Gillis, Christian Gillis and Julia Gillis. Great grandmother of Tyson Cresswell, Alessia Ruffolo, Nate Ruffolo, Kaleb Cresswell, Kole Cresswell and Logan Ruffolo. Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905)877-3631 on Sunday March 5th from 1 – 2 pm.
