It is with heavy hearts that the family of Betty Francis Vautour announce her passing at the Church of St John and St Stephen Home on April 24, 2023. Born in Roachville, she was a daughter of the late Horace and Joan (Lampard) Hetherington. Betty worked in administration for many years, first with Irving Oil in Saint John, NB and then with Union Tractor in Edmonton, AB. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 52 years, Frank Vautour; her brother Gary Hetherington (Faye) of Moncton, NB; her sisters: Sheila Hetherington and Marilyn Hetherington of Fredericton, NB; and her brothers-in-law: Wayne Vautour (Stella) and Brian Vautour. Along with her parents, Betty was predeceased by her mother-in-law Dorothy (Devennary) Vautour, her father-in-law John Vautour, and her sister-in-law Ann Marie Gallant. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, Nb (506-646-2424). Visitation will be held on Friday April 28th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. The funeral service will be on Saturday April 29th, 2023 at 3:00 pm. Donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
