We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Betty Ashby (nee Warren) in Kingston on June 23, 2023
Beloved wife of Kenneth Ashby and loving Mother of Corey (wife Sarah) Grandmother of Taylor, younger sister or kiddo to Sherry Murray. She will be missed by her in-laws Debbie Burnett (Brian), John Ashby (Lorraine) and Richard Ashby (Roben Grenier), Cherished aunt to Jay Murray (Jennifer) and Marsha Murray (Jason) Also missed by her nieces and nephews Michelle Ferguson (Shawn), Pam Hicks (Richard), Nicholas Ashby (Patricia), Chris Ashby (Leigh-Anne), Alan Burnett, Ryan Ashby, Ian Burnett (Genevieve) and Katie Miller (Dustin), plus several great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Doug and Elaine Warren and brother Howard Warren. Also predeceased by a nephew Matthew Ashby.
Visitation will be held at Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland on Tuesday, June 27 from 6:00 to 8:00pm and on Wednesday, June 28 from 10:00 to 12:00 noon with a luncheon to follow, all are welcome. A service will take place in the Roselawn Chapel on Wednesday, June 28 at 2:00 pm.
As expressions of sympathy donations to Diabetic Association or the MS society will be gratefully acknowledged.
