Passed away as a result of a car accident on September 16, 2023, at the age of 75. Beloved wife of the late Leonard Stephenson. Loving mother of Wayne (Meg). Loved grandmother to Cory (Whitney) of Trenton, Edward (Alicia) of Alliston and Tyler of Alliston. Dear great grandmother of Holden, Lilly and predeceased by Aurora. Fondly remembered by her brothers and sister, David of Guelph, Brian (Barb) of Dundalk, Steve (Bonnie) of Bathurst New Brunswick, and the late Sharon. Predeceased by her loving parents Gilbert and Pearl Garbutt.
Barbara will be missed by her nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, friends and extended family. A Memorial Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Road, Tottenham 905-936-3477, starting at 11:00 am until the time of the Service at 12:00 pm. Reception to follow at Hillside Community Church, 2314 Tottenham Rd, Tottenham. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
