Austin Shane Tchir passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in Red Deer on Monday, July 3, 2023 at the age of 29 years. Austin was born in Calgary, Alberta on September 18, 1993, and moved to Red Deer, where he took his schooling from kindergarten to attending High School at Lindsay Thurber Comprehensive High School. Everywhere he went he was like a magnet, as people were drawn to his gentle spirit and kind heart. Many people referred to him as magical and wise beyond his years. Austin was very talented in his music and art, loved building bikes, and being the free wandering spirit he was. He was all over the city cleaning parks and delivering clothes to the less fortunate. Austin loved working at fast food restaurants, McDonalds, Buster’s Pizza and Little Caesars. He made the best pizza. Austin had so many friends and will be dearly missed, as his sudden passing has shattered our hearts beyond words. “The sky is the limit!” Austin will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Lynn Tchir and Craig Prouse and Grant and Evelyn Ryall; his brothers, Grant Ryall Jr. and Kade Prouse; and his sisters, Kasondra Prouse and Kierra Prouse; as well as numerous family members and dear friends. Austin was predeceased by his sister, Christine Ryall; his grandparents, Gordon and Gwen Ryall and his grandfather, Walter Tchir. A Private Celebration of Austin’s Life will be held at a later date.
