Obituary of Audrey Wright
It is with sadness we announce the death of our wife and mother, Audrey Elizabeth Wright, on Thursday , August 10, 2023 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Jessie (nee Marshall) Stevens of Limerock.
Audrey will be dearly missed by her husband of 55 years Calvin; daughter Rhoda; son Rick (Kim); grandchildren, Taylor (Breanna); Lewis, Lily (Drew), Bailey and Nolan. She is also survived by brothers Bill, Edward (Lenora) and Myles (Jean) Stevens; sisters-in-law Angeline Stevens (Lloyd), Ann Stevens-Dooley (George), and brothers-in-law Bud Cameron, Hugh Wright and Edward Wright (Pat).
Audrey was predeceased by sisters Ina Cameron and Rhoda MacKenzie (Farrell); brothers Medford and Lawson Stevens; sisters-in-law Wilena Stevens, Audrey MacDonald, Betty Slaunwhite, and Anna Wright; and brothers-in-law Alex Wright (Joan) and Carl Wright.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Her funeral service will be held 1 o’clock Monday, August 14, from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with the Rev. Gail Johnson-Murdock officiating . Burial will be in St. Bees Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Aberdeen Palliative Care Unit or the Canadian Cancer Society.
