Obituary of Audrey Brant
Audrey Muriel Brant nee Maracle
On Friday the 13th of January 2023 at the age of 90, Audrey passed to spirit world. She is the daughter of the late Amos Percy Maracle and Rose Anna Belle Maracle (nee Gregg). Predeceased by her husband Earl Lloyd Brant, her sons Harold (Darla), Richard, Audie (Lori) and grandson Ira.
Will always be treasured by her children Jimmy “Brown” (Paula), Lynn, Lonny (Noreen), her grandchildren Crissy, Leah, Ogwari (Courtney), Angie (John), Adam, Jeremy (Lauren), Ashley, Jamie, Taylor (Mitchel), Mitchell (Meaghan) and 19 great grandchildren.
Predeceased by her brothers Bud (late Shirley), Joe, Amos (Patti), Carl, and Kenny.
Will be forever remembered by her sisters Shirley (late Ivan), Bev (late Bill), Gail (Ken), Ina (late Cubby), Lou, Carlene (George), and Connie (late Michael). Fond memories held by many nieces and nephews, school bus riders, Community members and Pow Wow friends.
The Family welcomes everyone for visitation at 497 Wymans Road (Jim’s house) beginning 9:00 am Sunday, January 15 through to 9:00 am Tuesday, January 17, as a casual drop-in, day, evening or night. A fire will be continuous to a 10 day feast for those wishing to burn tobacco.
The Family extends invitation to join them for a commemoration at the Mohawk Community Center at 10:30 am on Tuesday, January 17th, lunch to follow.
