Vittetoe, Audrey Jean- age 82, of Washburn, passed away peacefully Friday evening, September 22nd, 2023, in the company of her two sons. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the U.T. Hospice and Trinity Hills staff as well as a heartfelt thank you to her devoted caregiver and friend, Sandy Alexander. Audrey was a member of Salem Primitive Baptist Church and she was a beautician for more than forty years in Washburn.
Audrey was preceded in death by parents, Henry and Elva Blankenship and her husband of 49 years, Samuel (Bo) Vittetoe, Sr. She is survived by her sons, Sam Vittetoe, Jr., Russell (Lori) Vittetoe; grandchildren, Joseph (Lura) Vittetoe, Heather McFalls, J.D. Blackstock, and Alex Vittetoe; great grandchildren, Leah Vittetoe and Greyson Vittetoe.
Precious memories will forever live in the hearts of Audrey’s family and friends.
The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM, Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Bridges Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM. Pastor Doug McGinnis officiating. Family and friends will meet at Kitts Cemetery at 10:45 AM for an 11:00AM internment.
