Obituary of Arthur Joseph Lanigan
Surrounded by his family at the Moncton City Hospital on Friday, January 6, 2023 the death occurred of Arthur “Art” Joseph Lanigan of Stratford, age 84 years.
Beloved husband of Mary Theresa Lanigan (Roche). Loving father of Michelle Lanigan-McCormick (Greg). Art will be missed by his siblings Joseph (Shirley) of Montague, PE and Larry (Jean), Hamilton, Ontario. Art is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Lena (Collings) Lanigan and siblings Vincent, Harold (Evelyn), Jack (Tina), Joan Llewellyn (Ray) and Maxine Bell.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral home from where visiting hours will be held Thursday 4-6 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 am from Our Lady of the Assumption, Stratford. Interment will take place at All Saints Parish Cemetery, Cardigan.
Memorial donations may be made online to the All Saints Cemetery, Cardigan, Queen ELizabeth Hospital Foundation or the PEI Humane Society.
