It is with heavy hearts that the family of Arthur Sanft announces his passing on Monday, May 1, 2023. Beloved husband of Judy Kleinman. Devoted father and father-in-law of Meghan, Ryan and fiancée Sammi Elefant, Justin, Jordana Sanft and Matt Shane. Dear grandfather of Kaleigh Metser. Brother of the late Elaine Sanft, and brother-in-law of Irwin Kleinman and Debbie Schachter, Steven Kleinman. Son of the late Rae and the late Auckie Sanft, and son-in-law of the late Goldie and the late Alex Kleinman. Arthur was an active member of the Shaare Zion Beth-El Congregation, where he found great comfort and solace. He devoted much of his time to the shul having been a board member for over forty years and served as president for two terms. He was a man of warmth, and humour. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family, friends, and all those who knew and loved him. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, May 2 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Shaare Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
