Son of the late Charles and Gertrude (Wandless) Duke of Fredericton, NB. During his student days he was employed at a broadcast transmitter operator at CFNB Fredericton and the CBC International Service at Sackville, NB. After graduating from the University of New Brunswick in 1954 with a B,ScEE, he was employed as a Professional Engineer with Northern Electric, Belleville ON and the Federal Department of Communication in Ottawa.
He is predefined by one brother Robert (Bob) Duke. He is survived by his wife Edna (Repchinsky) Duke, and a daughter Louise and son-in-law Gregory Bridger.
Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Home, 3440 Richmond Rd., Nepean (between Bayshore & Baseline Rd.) on Tuesday, June 6 from 2-4 pm. Funeral service will take place at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, 1606 Fisher Ave. on Wednesday, June 7th at 10am. Tributes, donations and condolences may be made at www.tubmanfuneralhomes.com
