Arlene’s Obituary
CREASER, Arlene Florence – Age 70 of Lower Concession, passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, February 26, 2023. Born in St. Bernard, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and RoseElla (Comeau) Comeau.
First and foremost, Arlene loved her grandkids and treasured every moment with them. She was a dedicated mother to her daughters who will fondly remember her kindness and unconditional love. She shared a wonderful life with her husband who spent every day ensuring her days were full of laughter and adventure. Arlene’s daughters would like to express their deep gratitude and appreciation for everything their dad did for their mom.
A proud Acadian who spent her life in Clare, she leaves behind many beautiful memories. She had a silly side and a contagious laugh. She enjoyed taking walks by the beach, collecting sea glass and digging for clams. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing La Dame de Pique. Over the years she delved into various crafts and leaves behind many special creations. She was very social and stayed closely connected to her girlfriends. She had a special bond with her sisters who were her livelong best friends.
Arlene is survived by her husband, David, Lower Concession; daughters, Jodie Creaser (Ed Aquino), Dartmouth; Cindy Creaser (Gilles Deveau), Mavillette; brother, Gerard (Judy) Comeau, Stewiacke; sisters, Jeanne (Elie) Boudreau, Concession; Luciette Raymond (Gerard Gallant), Sackville; grandchildren, Romando, DiAngelo “Dio” and Aiden; and one “grand-dogger”, Ruby.
Public visitations will be held in Meteghan Funeral Home on Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A private service will follow at a later date with burial in St. Bernard Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the paramedics for their exemplary care.
