It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear loved one Antonio Marano. Surrounded by the love of his family Antonio peacefully passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023 in his 87th year. Antonio was born to Concetta & Angelo Marano in Vinchiaturo, Molise, Italy, on October 13, 1935 and immigrated to Canada in 1951.
Beloved husband of Maria for 63 wonderful years. Cherished father of Angelo (Olivia), Benny (Francesca) & Anthony (Diana). Proud Grandfather of Maria, Luke, Izzy, Lola & Giorgia. Step-grandson Daniel. He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings, nieces & nephews.
Antonio was passionately committed to his family and found no greater role than that of his role as husband, father, and a grandfather. He will forever be remembered as an honest, sincere gentleman who had a kind heart, charming demeanor with a positive attitude and a smile.
Antonio Marano will be greatly loved and missed by many!
Family and Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge) on Monday, April 10, 2023 from 3:00pm-5pm, 6pm-8:00 p.m.. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Margaret Mary Church (8500 Islington Ave, Woodbridge) Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at 9:30 a.m.. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, or Diabetes Canada.
