With heavy hearts, the family wishes to announce the passing of Antoinette, originally of North Bay, on May 26, 2023, in Ottawa. Beloved wife of the late Francesco De Marco (Noci, Italy), cherished daughter of Teresa (Wayne) Gribbons, and loving grandmother of Gabriella, Julia, and Domenico. She will be missed by her extended family. She was in her 100th year. Antoinette was predeceased by her parents Fred and Teresa Spina, and her brothers Nick and Henry (Ninetta). She lived a full life and never missed a beat with her sharp mind, quick wit, and love for her family, especially her grandchildren. She will never be forgotten and will forever live on in the hearts of her family. A funeral service will be conducted at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at 10:30 am followed by an interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or to CHEO and would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
