Mr. Anthony Harley Storozuk, age 20, passed away in Ottawa, Ontario on Monday, July 31, 2023. Anthony was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario on October 5, 2002 and was a proud member of Fort William First Nation. He was a strongman, and his gym was his Church. Anthony was an all-around friend to his gym buddies, especially Alex Mitchel. His future goal was to be a L.U. student and attend the Kinesiology Program. Anthony was a member of ISSA (International Sports Sciences Association) and completed his “Personal Trainer” program. He competed in local strongman events and won in his weight categories. He participated with Roots of Harvest, and completed many achievements in Navy cadets, sailing, CPR, and Food Handling. Anthony is lovingly remembered by his mother Candice, sister Kelsey and brother Kane. Left to mourn, his grandmother Pauline, grandfather Dan Jr., uncle John, aunt Sylvia, as well as numerous relatives and many friends. He is predeceased by his great-grandfather Dan Storozuk Sr. (2016) and uncle Ken Storozuk (2010). Funeral Services for Anthony will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at St. Anne’s Church at 11am. Visitation will be held in the Church an hour prior. Interment to follow at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Anthony would be appreciated.
