Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on February 18, 2023 at the age of 81. Loving husband of Concy for 51 years. Devoted father of John(Tina), Jennifer(Joe), Mary-Anne(Jason), and Michael. Cherished grandfather of Tristan, Aidan, Collin, Nolan, Daphne, and Lyla. He is survived by his sisters Jancinta and Leo and predeceased by 7 other siblings. Anthony will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. He was a devoted teacher, lector, and eucharistic minister at St. Margaret Mary Parish. A special thanks to the doctors, staff, and home care for their hard work, compassion, and support. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave. (Between Mohawk and Fennell) on Wednesday February 22, 2023 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be held at 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 20 Idlewood Ave. on Thursday February 23, 2023 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery.
