Ann Marie Severson
May 23, 1943 – August 25, 2023
It is with sorrow, yet grateful for the wonderful memories that we announce the passing of Ann Severson at Drayton Valley Hospital and Care Centre on Friday, August 25, 2023 at the age of 80 years.
Ann was the director of her family, she was supportive, a jokester, and the ultimate holiday entertainer. She enjoyed, golfing, gardening, cooking, and shuffleboard tournaments. Ann was very proud of her children and grandchildren, Ann (Baba) was a lot of fun, with trips to Disneyland, attending parties, spending time with her grandchildren, and having them out for the summers. Ann stayed connected with her family and friends, the group here and the group in Arizona, with a cold beer and great conversation. Ann lived a full and happy life, she made the most of her time here, no regrets. Ann will be greatly missed.
Ann is lovingly remembered by her children, Wanda and Shawn; grandchildren, Brandon, Kyle (Alycia), Cheyenne, and Alexis; siblings, Amel (Marlene), Raymond (Donna), Eugene (Mavis), Ted (Alice), Rodney (Arlene); sister-in-law, Rosalie; brother-in-law, Harold, and numerous family and friends.
Ann was predeceased by her husband, Harold; brother, Larry; sisters, Lynn and Lorraine; brother-in-law Nick; and parents Minnie and Thomas Prystupa.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Ann’s family would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this time.
