It is with great sadness that the family of the late Annie Pearl Janes announce her passing on Monday, January 23rd, 2023 at the Lanark Heights Nursing home in Kitchener, On at the age of 93 years. Leaving to mourn with very fond and loving memories are her nine children: daughters, Marilyn (Frank) Locke, Labrador City, Karen Tulk, Waterloo,ON, Paulette (Jerry Locke) Janes, Deer Lake, Ruth Park (Billy)
Cox’s Cove and Denise (Bob) Andrews, Goderich, ON; Sons, Wayne (Frances), Bishop Falls, Shad (Ruth), Kitchener, ON, Manoel (Evelyn), Paris, ON and Dave (Mina), Fort McMurry, AB; 20 grandchildren, 21 Great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren; very special friend Betty Wells, as well as a very large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her husband Karl John Janes, 2006 and parents Arthur and Amelia Harnum, Annie was the last surviving member of her family.
Visitation will take place from Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, Cox’s Cove on Saturday, January 28th from 7-9:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service on Sunday, January 29th at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Orvin Canning officiating. The interment will follow at the church cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Emmanuel Pentecostal church, Cox’s Cove.
