Hedge, Anne Elizabeth (nee van der Valk)
Surrounded by her family, Anne passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the age of 55. Loving wife of Tim, and mother of Caleb ‘Quinton’ (Jess), and Sarah (Brandon), daughter of John and Marguerite van der Valk, and daughter-in-law to Wayne and Vicki Hedge. Sister of Bob (Mary), and sister-in-law of Rae Ann Hedge. Anne will be dearly missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and her dear friend Barbara Jean (Kelly). She will be remembered by both the staff and residents at the Royal Henley where she worked as an RPN.
Anne will be remembered for her love of adventure, her sense of humour, and her caring heart.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral Service will be held at St. John’s Church, 80 Main St., St. Catharines (Port Dalhousie), on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 11am with a reception at church following the service. A private interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Walker Family Cancer Centre, or the Juravinski Cancer Centre would be appreciated by Anne’s family.
