Obituary
Coffin, Anne Marie – 63, of Coffinscroft, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2023 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB on July 24, 1959, she was a daughter of the late Ronald and Anne Greenwood. Anne Marie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Anne Marie loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren who brought her so much joy. Her nieces and nephews always called her favorite auntie Anne Marie. She was very outgoing, loved talking and being around family and friends. She was very passionate and involved as a residential coordinator for 25 years with Sasi. She loved riding her motorcycle. Anne Marie was coach for the Special Olympics for several years. For the last 10 years Anne Marie attended all of her grandsons Jaron’s hockey games and practices. Anne Marie is survived by her husband, Kenneth Coffin; children, Joel Scott, Nicholas Scott and Theresa Smith; step-children, Peter Coffin and Abby Charters; grandchildren, Taylor Nicoll, Jaron Scott, Laidley Smith, Joely Smith and Borden Coffin; siblings, Cathy Greenwood, Mark Greenwood, John Greenwood, Patricia Shepard, Annie Jeffrey and Chris Greenwood; several nieces and nephews. In keeping with Anne Marie’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no formal visitation or funeral service. Arrangements are under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilsons Funeral Home, Barrington. Memorial donations may be made to the Shelburne County Special Olympics.
