It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anne Kertesz on Wednesday June 14, 2023 in her 99th year. Anne was a beautiful lady who loved her family. She enjoyed traveling all over the United States and Canada and visited every province and state with her late husband, Frank. They met on a farm in 1949 and he fell in love with her that day. He told her that he was going to marry her, she laughed, and soon after, they were married. They enjoyed a beautiful life until his passing in 2008.
Anne was a loving mother to Frank (Cathy), Fred (Patricia), and Linda (James). Cherished grandmother of Michael (Heather), Christopher (Brianna), Richard (Fawn), Brock and Dalton. Great-grandmother of Isabelle, Zachary, Annabelle and Mya.
Family & friends will gather for a Celebration of Anne’s Life at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford on Monday June 19, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. A private family service will be held. Interment Pioneer Cemetery, Burford. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Anne’s memory may be made to the Burford Optimist Youth Fund, Burford Lions Way or the Burford Agricultural Society. 519-449-1112. www.keithovington.ca
