Obituary of Anita Mary Gaudet
It is with great sadness that the family of Anita Mary Gaudet (née Blackier), wife of the late Alcide Joseph Gaudet (2020), announces her passing on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. She resided in New Maryland, NB for 49 years, in the house Alcide built himself. Anita worked many years for the government of New Brunswick , before retiring in 2001 for health reasons. She loved to cook and had many talents, such as painting, sewing, embroidering, and crocheting, to name a few. Both she and her husband loved camping and attending Bluegrass music festivals, where Anita could often be found singing during open mic with their many friends.
